Brianna's Story

What led you to Baird?

Before Baird, I was an activities coordinator for an elderly home; from this, I learned that I wanted a career focused on people, a place where I could make human connections. I thrive on that. That led me to Baird and the client specialist role in 2020. In this role, I get to work directly with clients and support them with their major life decisions. Most recently, I have transitioned to my new role as a financial advisor and look forward to the new opportunities this role will bring.

What keeps you at Baird?

Baird is employee owned; we are all working toward one common goal; it may sound cheesy, but we are one big family.

When I first started, I was blown away by the career longevity of many colleagues – 20 years, 30 years. I knew there was something special about this place. Baird has the right employees, the right trainers, and the right resources to allow staff to be successful. And each employee is supported on their career paths – whatever that may be. Staff in different departments and different roles are willing to talk to you if you are curious about their role. No one is ever too busy for meaningful connections.

As a working parent, Baird offers me the flexibility to care for my child. They don’t just talk about work-life balance; they strive to take actionable steps that will allow employees to have balance.

There are many other financial firms, but Baird is like a boutique firm – when it comes to our client care experience, we go above and beyond. We pay attention to the details while learning, understanding, and ultimately growing with our clients.
