Why did you become a financial advisor?
I became an advisor because of the pace: every day presents a new challenge from responding to urgent issues to being proactive on client needs. Also, this profession allows me to make a difference in people's lives; my work has a lasting impact across generations, and it’s rewarding to be able to help clients and their families. 

Why did you choose Baird?

I left my old firm and came to Baird in 2018. I chose Baird for three main reasons:

1) In the Milwaukee branch, advisors have a management team that cares, a team that will work with you and support you to their best ability.  Good managers make all the difference.

2) Baird helps advisors grow. The firm cares about you and your success. At other firms, they try to make the clients loyal to the firm, but at Baird, they want the clients to trust in you, their advisor – to be loyal to you. And part of this has to do with the fact that Baird is a privately held firm, so you are an owner of the company; you have a say and a stake in the company.

3) Since I came to Baird from another firm, I feel that I bring something of value to Baird: I have a different perspective to offer, especially to advisors who have only worked at Baird and don’t realize how unique it is. It’s a collaborative environment – everything is a team effort. It is a special place to work; an advisor is lucky if they get to work here.
